Guru is not the individual or a person. The literal meaning of the word Guru is as follows, “Gu” means our senses and “Ru” means to lighten up which ultimately means that Guru is the one who blesses you by lightening up your senses with true knowlege( Aatamgyan ) i.e. by dispelling darkness or ignorance of real truth.  Such is the teaching of our Gurudev and Guruma who are devoid of ego and symbol of self knowledge, humility, generosity and simplicity.

To be honest, no word or an adjective can describe them, they are beyond words, mind and intellect.

When you meet our Gurudev Guruma, you will notice them living extremely simple life but are an inspiration and source of true knowlege i.e. the knowledge which is beyond the materialistic world and pleasures. They always emphasize that  everything is Parmatma i.e. the supreme soul. They are Vendant Marmagya i.e. knowing the essence Advait Vedanta. Adi Shankaracharya expounded Advait Vedanta teachings and gave treasure to the world called Nirvana Shatkam(Chindanand Rupo Shivoham Shivoham) . This was originally in Sanskrit , our Gurudev and Guruma has imbibed the real meaning of  Nirvana Shatkam in their everyday life and gave translation in Hindi for us so that we can recite the same with understanding.

So this was an attempt to make you aware who our Gurudev and Guruma are. But in reality, there is no simile to explain the same in words.
